Senior Quantity Surveyor

JOB DESCRIPTION / ROLE

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our fitout construction team in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost and financial management of construction projects, ensuring that they are completed within budget and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of cost and financial management for fitout construction projects.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely cost estimates, budgets, and cost reports.
- Conduct thorough cost analysis and provide recommendations to optimize project costs.
- Evaluate and negotiate subcontractor and supplier contracts to ensure cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to track project progress and identify potential cost issues.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all cost-related transactions and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to cost management.

Salary:
SAR 20,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

REQUIREMENTS

- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in fitout construction projects, preferably in Saudi Arabia.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts, procurement, and cost control.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools such as CostX, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in cost estimation and reporting.
- Certification or membership with professional bodies such as the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) is a plus.
