Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for an Omani Graduate Engineer who will be supporting the site supervision team on all engineering and construction works including drafting report, performing routine inspections, preparing various types of correspondence.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure all site work undertaken is checked and approved in accordance with the project’s quality systems
- Prepare Daily Activity Report
- Assist the Site Engineer in the engineering reviews of the drawings, submittals and other communication prepared by Contractor
- Provide input to the preparation of approval documentation
- Comply with the company’s HSE and Quality Policies at all times
- Fulfil the responsibilities and duties assigned by the Site Engineer role in the quality management system procedures
- Inspect Material on site
- Manage the Requests For Inspection (RFIs) documentation in appropriate manner
- Comply with the relevant quality management system work instructions and utilise the quality system standard forms, check sheets and documentation where appropriate
- Assist the site engineers as required
- Interface with the clients as required

Requirements

- Minimum BSc (or post degree) in Engineering or Quantity Surveying
- Fluency in English
- Delivery focused individual with the ability to work in a self-sufficient manner
- Ability to build strong working relationships/networks with all stakeholders and maintain a high degree of integrity
