Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for an Omani QHSE Officer to work alongside the quality management team across a large water Transmission pipeline project in Oman. This role would entail managing and developing HSE and Quality standards and processes to ensure they are aligned with the contract’s requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide guidance and support to Site Management
- Achieve HSE Strategic Operations and solid HSE performance
- Ensure that all significant hazards arising from operational activities are identified
- Ensure effective audit and inspection plans are executed in line with corporate HSE requirements for controlling risk
- Provide site with technical advice and guidance on all HSE issues in order to support the effective implementation of HSE on site
- Monitor and advise on the site`s health and safety compliance

Requirements

- Minimum Bachelors (or BSc) in a relevant field
- At least 10 years in a Quality and HSE
- Fluency in English
- Strong relationship management skills and personally confident to effectively address and influence stakeholders
- Delivery focused individual with the ability to work in a self-sufficient manner
- Ability to build strong working relationships/networks with all stakeholders and maintain a high degree of integrity
- Strong planning, organising and administrative skills
