Senior Procurement Officer - Omani National

Job description / Role
- Ensures that internal customers receive quality buying services in adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLA).
- Monitors procurement activities in order to ensure their professional, ethical execution and compliance to procurement policies.
- Ensures the completion of procurement documentation.
- Establishes and maintains relationships between internal customers and vendors.
- Manages procurement related database in SAP in order to keep them available and accurate.
- Ensures that all problems occur in relation with procurement activities are resolved.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications for this position is a Degree in Supply Chain Management or similar.
- Minimum years of relevant experience is 4 years in a similar role.
- Knowledge of SAP Procurement modules is desirable.
- Knowledge of contracting process and associated regulations.
- Knowledge of accounts payable principles, procedures, and standards.
- Knowledge of organizational structure, workflow, and operating procedures.
- Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS)
- Experience in a Refining, Petro-chemical or Oil & Gas environment is preferable.
