Job description / Role
- Manage the sales of the brand in the designated Travel Retail sales environments to optimize the sales and growth potential and the achievement of sales targets, implementing agreed plans & strategies for each account.
- Contribute towards the sales and profit targets of the business
- Negotiation of new distribution contracts as well as management and review of existing contracts.
- Maximize every sales chance by offering up sells at every opportunity
- Additionally ensure the retail sales targets are communicated to the BA’s and the targets are achieved on a monthly / quarterly basis
- To deliver your individual business objectives / Store objectives
- Participate and willing cooperate with colleagues to achieve the team objectives
- To lead by example - demonstrating to the team an exceptional high level of customer service going above and beyond
- To motivate and encourage the team on a regular basis
- Meet with the key retail contacts to discuss the business and present the future marketing calendar / new launches.
- Identify opportunities for improvement at retail level including enhanced space and visibility.
- Responsible for the implementation of international marketing programs for region.
- Recommend to management creative means by which to grow business in a profitable manner.
Requirements
- Graduate with a Masters preferred
- 8+ years of progressive commercial experience in a large corporate environment with previous work in travel retail is required.
- Job requires frequent overseas travel.
- Strong interpersonal skills required.
- Proven ability to provide strategic direction for business units
