Job description / Role
We are looking to fill a position of MEP Inspector for Urban Transport Projects, LRT, Metro, Rail with the following duties and responsibilities:
- Interface with clients and contractor’s staff to verify project requirements.
- Prepare inspection reports. Report Site Status in writing.
- Perform MEP tests (LV, HVAC, lighting, Power, Plumbing, Sewage, Fire Detection, and Fire Fighting) according to design.
- Inspection of construction with regards to the information provided in the shop drawings.
- Inspection of construction tasks to ensure compliance with clients requirements and standards.
- Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as appropriate.
Salary upto AED 14,000 per month + selected benefits
Requirements
- Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering
- 5 to 8 years of related work experience on infrastructure projects.
- Experience in MEP inspection and supervision (LV, HVAC, lighting, Power, Plumbing, Sewage, Fire Detection, and Fire Fighting) in relevant projects.
- Experience in the UAE / Qatar / KSA / Oman
- Skills / Competencies
- Good oral and written communications skills.
- Ability to communicate both with clients and contractors effectively.
- Committed with Health and Safety in the work place.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office.
