ATHE (Awards for Training and Higher Education)

The postgraduate diploma level 7 in Strategic Management provides a fast track progression to a Master’s degree such as MBA or MSC by seeking exemptions from the taught stage of such programmes. The programme is equivalent to level 7 on the national qualification framework and QCF accredited.

This programme emphasises on academic learning as well as employer knowledge and practice. It provides a fast track progression route for those who:

  • are currently studying professional qualifications and wish to proceed to a Master’s degree in business/management
  • have a related degree but wish to proceed to a Master’s level business/management qualification
  • are in employment, at managerial level, and wish to achieve a Master’s level qualification

This postgraduate level programme is unique in that it integrates the academic knowledge available within the specialised areas of Management, and applies this knowledge to a specific and important business group in today’s Business. Course Structure

Students will be required to successfully complete the following modules in one academic year which is normally comprised of two semesters. The ATHE Level 7 Extended Diploma in Strategic Management is a 120 credit qualification. All learners must complete the five core units totalling 75 credits. Learners then select the unendorsed route or one of 4 pathways:

  • Finance, Marketing, Managing People, International.
