About this Course:

In this course you will learn the editing techniques necessary to create all the types of carriers you need!

The skills learned in this course are fundamental to your professional career and will help you increase productivity and competitiveness. The editing in the GIS field is not simply a design because every geometry that is drawn brings with it well defined characteristics.

To better structure a vector layer it is essential to know the methodology and the basic rules of this activity. In fact you will learn what the topological rules are and why it is essential to know them before entering into an editing session. You will be clear what an attribute table is and why it is so important.

The theoretical part will be joined by a practical part in which I will show you how to edit the geometry at best and at the end of the course there will be another practical part in which you will complete a tutorial.

• During the course I will release both the slides and the material used in the various lessons and obviously the files that will be used for the final tutorial.

Thanks to the theoretical introduction you will be able to perform vector editing with any software! The software used for this course is QGIS in version 3.x now one of the best software in GIS. QGIS has been developed for a decade is constantly updated has a wide audience of users and many support forums. It is used by many public companies but also private ones. The Region of Tuscany for example also with a view to complying with the Digital Administration Code (DL n. 82 March 7 2005) releases the map data in the form of a QGIS project.
