Job description / Role
Salary US$70,000(TAX FREE) + bonus + all living costs paid + generous leaves.

Our client provides aviation services to support NGO’s and Military Forces worldwide. Operations include the provision of inter-country and intra-country airlift capability utilizing both fixed and rotary wing aircraft.
They are seeking an experienced “hands-on” person to provide professional aviation support in Afghanistan. Principal responsibility is to plan, coordinate and facilitate all Aviation Division operations.
Responsibilities:
• Develop essential relationships with NGOs, government and military agencies to facilitate aviation operations
• Assist the Aviation Project Manager in managing fixed and rotary wing passenger movement
• Provide aviation expertise to the staff
• Ensure safe/efficient aviation operations at the airport through close integration with airfield management & safety offices
• Interact closely with other divisions to facilitate planning and execution of operations and identify future business opportunities
• Execute duties in austere environments (including military FOBs)
• Travel as required throughout Afghanistan(or any other location as directed)
Requirements
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
• Former US military aviator with the rank of :
o Army: CW2 or higher (for warrant officers), O-2 or higher ( for officers)
o Air Force, Navy , Marines: O-2 or higher
• Experience in Iraq or Afghanistan
• Ability to interface with senior civil and military officials in matters relating to aviation maintenance
• Ability to think critically and creatively solve complex issues
• Proven record of planning, developing and implementing operations systems, standards, practices and procedures
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Power Point ,Word)
• Possess excellent technical writing skills
