Employment: Full Time

We are looking for a highly accurate Head of Finance who will be responsible for the budget planning and supports the executive management team by offering insights and financial advice that will allow them to make the best business decisions for the company.

To be successful as a Head of Finance, you should demonstrate excellent leadership qualities and experience in modeling financial strategies. Ultimately, a competent Head of Finance should maintain the finances of the organization effectively and increase profitability.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Managing the financial reporting for the organization. This includes monthly financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
• Providing sound financial support and insights to enable the company to make critical business decisions.
• Overseeing the taxation affairs of the organization and liaising with the external tax firm for specialist advice
• Managing and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls.
• Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organization is compliant with accounting standards
• Managing and overseeing the company's banking and borrowing arrangements
• Managing and overseeing the company’s financial systems
• Recruitment, training, mentoring, and development of finance staff.
• Overseeing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Tax, Treasury, Payroll, Financial, and Management Accounting functions.
• Managing and tracking budget and accounting information including billing, collections, and tax information

Requirements

Qualification
• 10+ years' experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
• Professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA or ACCA
• Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills, with the ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels
• Ability to collaborate with upper management to organize, plan and achieve company financial goals
• Advanced computer software skills, including Excel and financial reporting software(Odoo knowledge is an advantage)

About the Company

PDB International General Trading was established in 2010 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Since its establishment, it has managed to expand its business from importing and exporting items to trading a large variety of commodities, particularly within the African regions.

In its manufacturing endeavour, it has commissioned a 144 Tons/day pasta factory in Luanda, Angola with full production capacity and its corn flour production facility is soon to start production.
