Maintenance Officer, Cold-Store in Supermarket, Angola

Our client is a reputable African group who has diversified business portfolio positioned in multi-location in Africa. Retail / huge supermarket is one of their major businesses among others. Currently, they are seeking to recruit qualified Maintenance Officer for to handle the Food Cold Store unit in the supermarket / warehousing.

Reporting to the Manager, the job holder will be responsible for all maintenance department including:
• Cold rooms, HVAC, A/C
• Electrical installation
• Generators maintenance
• Small appliances for the supermarket
• Manage and train maintenance team
• Keep and manage small stock of all the spare parts needed
• Elaboration and execution of the preventive maintenance plan
• Control and contract maintenance sub-contractors
• Repair and solve all the cold room and refrigeration installing troubles
• Repair and solve troubles with the HVAC and A/C
• Repair and solve the electrical malfunctions, and replacement of lamps.
• Assist the generators in their preventive and service maintenance

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Cold room and HVAC maintenance
• Has the right technical qualification for the same, gained from reputable school.
• Great skills in Cold Rooms and HVAC maintenance and repairing
• Good knowledge of electrical installations and maintenance
• Possess 5 years work experience gained from being working in similar operation / environment.
• Previously worked in Angola / Africa, surely is an added value.
• Willing to be relocated to Angola on single basis, no family to join.
• Dynamism and pro-activity
• Good welding skills
• Fluency in English, fluency in Portuguese is an added value & preferred.
• Capacity of communicating and training
