Thermal Power Design Engineer - Angola
Guildhall is representing a Major International Contractor which has been awarded a Design and Build contract for a Waste to Energy (WtE) Plant in Angola.
The position will be based in Luanda, the capital of Angola. A successful candidate will be instrumental in helping Angola to transform their cities residue waste into energy for the city over the next 20 – 30 years.
Requirements
- Degree educated in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering specialising in Thermal Power / Electrical or Mechanical
- Preference for candidates to hold Chartered Engineer status
- Minimum 10 years postgraduate experience
- Minimum of 3 years experience in WtE Design, with an understanding of waste incineration power process and major equipment performance
- Operate in an advisory capacity providing factual analytics to management and directorate for all design related issues
- Team player and able to work in a multi-cultural workforce
- Fluent in English
