We are exploring opportunities for further engineering and construction work, which requires experienced, highly motivated Project Managers to join our team based in Perth, Western Australia. As the Project Manager, you will be responsible for the execution and completion of large scale projects and leading the project engineering functions to ensure completion on time, within budget and in a safe environment.
To qualify for this position, you will have proven construction experience across Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical and Instrumentation scopes of work and be a hands-on leader who is commercially astute, people focussed and solution driven.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement project resources and structures to ensure efficient use of equipment, site facilities, purchasing and labour resources.
• Plan and direct projects, managing time, budgets and resources to ensure project objectives and deadlines are achieved.
• Lead safety culture, initiatives and performance for the project to achieve safety targets.
• Provide leadership to the project team demonstrating excellence in personal interaction, employee engagement, employee relations and teamwork.
• Foster and manage relationships with various clients and customers.
• Identify quality requirements, assign delegations and ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Identify areas for development and provide innovative solutions for continuous improvement.
• Manage the performance of the team from tender through to site construction, commissioning and close out.

Requirements
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering and or project management or trade qualifications with extensive management experience.
• Previous experience leading multi-million dollar projects within the Heavy Industrial / Mining / Minerals / Energy sectors specifically covering structural, mechanical, piping related engineering and construction works.
• Demonstrated experience delivering projects from concept to completion.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong experience managing large teams of trades personnel on construction projects.
• Excellent customer relationship and client facing skills.
• Proven dedication to safety and delivering projects with a focus on safety, well-being and development of employees.
• Experience accurately forecasting and managing project costs, resources and procurement.
