Rail Safety Expert - Tunnel Construction

Job description / Role

My client is a leading engineering company who specialise in rail projects and work on projects all over the world. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced rail HSE specialist to work on a new project in Australia. The role will involve;

Coordinate, provide, check and monitoring all the design phases (preliminary design, detailed design and IFC “issue for construction”) and technical support to the Client (the Contractor) during the construction phase (CPS).

Interacting with the technical RAMS team for Preparation of detailed Rail Safety Management plans/ safety instructions and implementation in the entire project phases. Reviewing and monitoring Safety plans of other Contractors. Implementation and definition the  RAMS parameters and requirements for the various subsystems.

Participating in workshops with the Contractors and final Client, to complete the security risk assessment and those for the benefit of Safety process. Hazard log management and definition of Safety requirements in the Requirements Management software.

Requirements

Candidates should have an engineering degree and should have a proven track record of working on major construction projects all over the world. Candidates must have worked on rail and metro projects and also on major tunnel and underground tunnel construction projects.
