Accountant

Job description / Role

- Book keeping all accounting records related to project.
- Assist the Senior Accountant in preparing reports.
- Posting of all delivery notes and receipts in relation to project.
- Verify all attachment receipt in all payment authority.
- Classify cost of each department.
- Proper posting of cost charges.
- Provide input, support and assistance with annual forecasting and budgeting process for each project.
- Responsible for identifying, researching, communicating and helping to resolve any and all financial challenges for operations.
- Responsible for the overall management of accounts payable, including receiving, coding and entering some accounts payable.
- Responsible for assisting with accounts receivable billing issues at all levels.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks on a daily basis, with good organizational skills and good communication skills.
- Perform special projects as required to address the needs of the business.
- Responsible for the preparation of each project’s periodic financial statements and all supporting schedules.
- Responsible for interacting with owners, investors and auditors of project; creating schedules as needed and providing explanations of account balances.

Requirements

- BSc in accounting
- Min 2 years of experience in the construction field
