Assistant Accountant

Job description / Role

POSITION OBJECTIVE
The position is responsible for assisting the team of accountants with junior accounting duties to maintain the store and keep it running smoothly. As well as helping the manager and deal with customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing and checking of DSSR.
- Prepare monthly sales report for the respective Mall Management.
- Prepare sales report for TIM and CSC.
- Calculate and check to make sure payments, amounts and records are correct.
- Responsible for processing payments.
- Coordinate with stores for the reconciliation of the daily deposits.

Requirements

- Check visa, master card and Gulf news vouchers.
- Internal Audit and query resolution of Internal Audit.
- Fixed assets booking and maintaining fixed assets register.
- Vendor management and vendor reconciliation.
- Finalization of accounts.
- Advances if any adjusted against subsequent payment.
- Cost control and Reduction.
