Card Embossing Specialist

Job description / Role

• Process Embossing of Cards
• To produce cards to a high standard in terms of quality
• Monitor cards and carriers for quality and correctness, confirm count, separate special handling requests and forward to appropriate area
• The Operator must carry out all checks during production to ensure correct materials are being used ,and that the quality of printing ,embossing, tipping and indent are to the required standard.
• Sets up equipment, loads materials, clears jams and other simple malfunctions and unloads product from equipment.
• The Operator must ensure accurate card reconciliation
• Prioritize any special handling requests
• Respond to equipment error messages
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Follow security procedures at all times
• Liaise Emboss machine service maintenance, safe keeping and balancing of daily live credit cards stocks inventory etc..
• Handle administrative tasks and provide MIS on Instant card embossing volume updates.
• Waste management
• Maintains Operator reports and logs
• Reconciles incoming and completed work
• Performs other related duties as assigned
• Hands on experience in working with Matica S7000 Central Card Personalization Platform

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required in IT, and Master’s desired.
• 5 years of experience or more in the field of cards embossing in a well-reputed financial institution in Bahrain.
• Excellent communication skills in English, Arabic language is a plus.
