Engineering Programs Specialist (Jordanian National)

Client is looking for an Engineering Programs Specialist, preferably a Jordanian nation with other 15 years’ experience of working on major projects. This role will be to provide claims and disputes resolution services arising from all projects ensuring that all claims and disputes with external contractors and consultants are timely addressed, cleared and prevented.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Provide strategic advice at all stages of project life cycle to prevent probable claims and/or disputes
• Coordinated with all sectors all the necessary documents to facilitate the review and analysis of all claims and disputes
• Coordinate and facilitate all claims and disputes with external organisations ensuring the validity and clarity of all claims
• Review and analysis tender documents, contracts, schedules and claims
• Characterise highly impacted projects, assist in the identifications of those projects and provide advice to reduce the exposure of claims
• Analyse and provide advice on the problem areas that cause cost, quality and project delays
• Prepare damage analysis reports and entitlement calculations
• Prepare dispute referral responses and provide reports to act as defence against claims
• Prepares graphics and multimedia presentations supporting negotiations and experts
• Monitor in coordination with Project Managers the strategic advice related to the prevention of claims and disputes ensuring that they are implemented accordingly
• Provide workshop and conduct awareness sessions on how to reduce claims and disputes.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or equivalent
• 15 years’ experience
• Be a Jordan national for Visa purposes
