Job description / Role

Estimator / QS / Draftsman - Carpentry & Aluminium Division

Tasks will include:

- After a request for quotation is received for Aluminium & Steel Fabrication scope as well as all types of woodwork, we need someone who is capable of reviewing all the tender documents, BOQ, and drawings to extract all the quantities related to executing our scope of works for pricing.
- Eventually we want this person to also obtain quotations from our suppliers and manage their relationship.
- Producing quotations, delivery notes, and maintaining general document control is also something we would like this person to be capable of.
- As a Director of these divisions, I am a huge believer in developing our employees and increasing their skills and confidence. So I would very much expect this person to want to improve on his value to the company and gain more responsibilities.

Requirements

- Experience in the Carpentry, Woodworks, Fit Outs, or Aluminium profiles fields would be most relevant to the role.
- Candidate must be capable and confident to learn new skills.
- Candidate must be willing to carry out multiple responsibilities to always increase his/her value to the company.
- Candidate may be trained to manage relationships with suppliers and obtain quotations and prices for tendering and quotation generation.
- Being proficient with Microsoft Office and AutoCAD is important.
