Group Head of Litigation - Arabic Speaker

Our client is seeking a very seasoned litigator to protect the Group's interests in all such matters and manage a team.

* Superior knowledge of international and local commercial litigation practice in the financial sector.
* Thorough competence in several legal areas of concentration, with maturity and sound judgement.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic.
* Excellent negotiation skills.
* Well-developed analytical and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated, eye for detail.
* Ability to persuade others.
* Flexible team player and able to work and deliver under pressure.
* Ability to manage teams from diverse cultural backgrounds.
* Ability to inspire and motivate others to gain commitment.

Requirements

Requirements:

* University degree in law from a recognized university.
* Admission to the professional bar, law society or attorney association of a recognized jurisdiction is required.
* Minimum 15 years legal experience in the legal profession with a major FI/ law firm.
* Previous experience or currently working in a common law or European country strongly preferred.
* Semior litigator fluent in Arabic
