Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Key Responsibilities:
• Play an active role in the development and implementation of the Integrated Management System requirements within their Department and provide the leadership to ensure that contents of Environment, Health & Safety and Information Security Policy Statements are known and understood by their staff.
• Produce and manage the project HSE plan according to local legislation, corporate and project requirements.
• Support project team with guidance on method statements and writing of risk assessment.
• Provide input into the development of the Environment, Health & Safety and Information Security management system.
• Carry sub-contractor HSE audits and prequalification analysis.
• To exercise a duty of care for the health, safety and welfare of Thales project staff and our sub-contractors
• Ensure that a good HSE and Information Security culture is promoted within the project and among peers;
• Lead by example and ensure that ways to conserve energy, water and resources and minimize the generation of waste are identified
• Protect information assets and data including both electronic and paper based from all threats whether internal, external, deliberate or
• accidental;
• Promote a good HSE and Information Security culture among the project departments and peers;
• Conduct regular reviews on the HSE and Information Security Performance and seek ways to continually improve.
• Carry out regular HSE tours and inspections.
• Liaise with customer and The Engineer to ensure project HSE project requirements are met.
• Maintain project HSE reporting information.

Requirements

• 10 years of Experience in project HSE and at least 5 years as a HSE Manager
• Experience in Design and Build Projects for Airport construction
• Security Systems and Communication Solutions is a great asset
• Degree in construction related role
• Qualifications in HSE Management (minimum NEBOSH) and ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 auditing (lead Auditor Certified).
