Job description / Role

• Monitoring network traffic and vulnerabilities over the network.
• Close monitoring of antivirus updates and Windows updates.
• Managing users and Active Directory, including backup.
• Managing the firewall and ensuring servers are updated and running.
• Ensuring all schedulers are operational.
• Managing the file server and print server.
• Managing the Trend Micro Antivirus Server.
• Managing all lines (Lease, ADSL, and digital telephone lines).
• Supporting and managing all Cisco devices.
• Support and troubleshooting of all IT devices installed at the Back Office.
• Intrusion prevention and content filtering.
• Installation and monitoring of WSUS server.

Inventory:
• Assisting in stock take upon request.
• Supervising stock take at the store level when required.
• Helping in reporting and updating inventories.

Requirements

Store Level:
• Ensuring all devices are up and running.
• Assisting stores with all IT issues as needed.
• Weekly checks for Windows and antivirus updates.
• Ensuring proper functioning of all IT equipment such as Antenna, Cameras, Traffic counters, Cisco Devices, etc.
• Weekly checks of the POS system for all stores.
• Implementing security measures to prevent USB device usage at store level.
• Checking for vulnerabilities and unwanted software on POS machines.
• Managing ADSL and Telephone lines at store level.
• Implementing backup procedures at store level.
• Database optimization.
• Disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Conducting preventive maintenance and updates.
