IT Security Implementation Engineer

Job description / Role

Computer World W.L.L. is looking for an experienced IT Security Solutions Implementation Engineer to join their team in Bahrain & Saudi Arabia. The Engineer will be one of the key members of a highly effective, professional, and fast-growing team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Ensure technical success of implementations (from technology architecture and solution point of view) through interaction with the project team
• Manage customer expectations towards a successful business closure and execution
• Define proper scope of work (SOW) of any proposed solution
• Create high-end technical content for proposals including required drawings, project plans, technical compliance, and other usual formal RFP requirements
• Coordinate any technical third-party involvement for presales/proposal process
• Arrange, define, manage, and monitor Proof of Concept (POC) with customers including scope, success criteria, technical requirements, timelines and presentation of results
• Coordinate with internal team leaders and tech leaders to successfully deliver the POC.
• Project sign offs
• Involve in Emerging Technologies
• Attend Trainings as required by the business and complete the certifications within stipulated period Assisting Sales Manager & Sales Teams in customer meetings, focusing on positioning Computer World technical solutions and services, understanding customers environment and manage expectations.
• Involve vendor presales and help Computer World’s Engineering teams as required, build good working relationships with vendor technical teams

Requirements

Skills Requirement
• Strong interest and passion in Cybersecurity
• Hands On working skills on ForeScout
• Knowledge in IT security solutions such as Firewall, NGFW, IPS, IDS, SIEM, Content Filtering, Wireless Security, End -Point Detection & Response (EDR), User Behavior Analysis (UBA) and Security Scanners
• Knowledge in any two of the solutions listed: - PAM, CyberArk, Proofpoint, Fortinet, Imperva, SailPoint, Symantec, Checkpoint, PaloAlto, Crowdstrike, Skybox.
• Strong understanding of IT protocols and related methodologies
• Knowledge on NAC solutions like ForeScout, Aruba, Cisco
• Knowledge in Identity & Access Management (IAM) like SailPoint
• Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols.
• Adaptable to multicultural environments with problem solving skills, ability to work under pressure
• Any IT/Security industry standard certification will be an added advantage
• Experience in IoT technology is desirable
• Experience in Cloud Security is desirable

Experience Requirements
• Minimum 5 to 6 years of IT & Security implementation experience
• Consulting and implementation experience are highly desirable

Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Information systems engineering or related discipline, or at least 5-6 years of equivalent technical experience.
• Certification on ForeScout is Mandatory
• Also desirable are any vendor related professional certifications such as Firewall technologies, PAM, etc.
