Job description / Role
Male Sandwich Artist up to 230 Bhd for an International Fnb Operator in Bahrain
• POSITION: Sandwich Artist
• SALARY: up to 230BHD full package depending on experience and qualifications
• HIRING COMPANY: FnB Operator
• WORK LOCATION: Bahrain
• AVAILABILITY: Can join immediately (max 1 month)
• EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to ANY nationality
• Male, below 40 years old
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Prepares food neatly, accurately and in a timely manner
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of menu items and explains it to guests accurately
• Exhibits a cheerful and helpful manner when dealing with guests
• Checks products in sandwich unit area and restocks items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout the shift
• Inquire about bread and meat choices and choose and pick fresh lots from the inventory
• Cut meat into cubes or slices or use precuts to make sandwiches and salads
• Slice cheese and decant mayonnaise onto bread according to customers’ specifications
• Fry meat such as bacon, chicken and beef to make fried meat sandwiches and grill meats for healthier options
• Prepare sandwiches by putting in vegetables such as onions, olives, gherkins, lettuce and pickles according to the specific instructions of customers
• Wrap prepared sandwiches in foil or cling film, box them and hand them to customers
• Greets guests and prepares their orders, uses Point of Sale system/cash register to record their order, collects payment from guests and makes change
• Understands and adheres to all quality standards, formulas and procedures
• Accounts for cash flow and inventory during the shift
• Understands and adheres to proper food handling, safety and sanitization standards while preparing food, serving food and clean up
• Maintains professional appearance and grooming standards as outlined in the Operations Manual
Requirements
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• High school or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Sandwich Artist
• Ability to understand and implement written and verbal instructions.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good verbal communication
