Job description / Role
Responsible for developing, launching and managing Retail products and services. Enhance the Bank’s profitability by maximizing profitability of existing products and services through continuous monitoring and ensuring that the products under management are positioned competitively and their related operations are maintained efficiently and cost effectively. Drive all new products and services initiatives from conceptualization till launch to deliver superior customer value and open new avenues for revenue generation for the Retail Banking.
Develop and manage Sharia’s compliant products and services with the objectives to increase profitability, customer base and market share.
Prepare Product Design Form and Project Plans for new products and services and obtain the approvals of all related parties both internal and external.
Manage the testing phase of the new products and services.
Define and implement marketing strategy for the new products and services.
Train sales force on product features.
Co-ordinate with the Corporate Communication Department for successful product launches and monitors progress.
Support sales of the product by ensuring most suitable distribution channels.
Continuously bench mark the bank's products and services with that of the competitors.
Manage pricing strategy of the products.
Analyse sales and market share data by product and customer groups.
Management and analysis of customer attitude and behaviour research.
Continuously monitor and improve the existing products to ensure their efficiency and cost effectively
University (BS) degree from banking related department
A minimum of 5 years banking experience in product development and management (preferably minimum 3 years in Islamic Banking area)
Project Management certification and experience
Good experience in planning marketing strategies and advertising campaigns.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent MS Office capability (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
