Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Perform QA and execute tests using scripts use appropriate tools/procedures and document changes along with generation of defect metrics.
• Source code repository maintenance with appropriate backup and validation procedures.
• Perform configuration/change/release management for production changes.
• Implement and execute release management procedures and generate MIS
• Updating of documentation of production processes and system interfaces.
• Training/Knowledge base creation with emphasis on re-use of components.
• Track/assess/plan software version upgrades based on IT security risk assessment and other end-of-life policy based changes.

Requirements

• Degree in Software Engineering, with certification in Quality/Process management is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in a Quality/Process engineering role within the banking industry dealing with hybrid systems.
• Should be proficient with hands on experience in hybrid technologies like Windows .Net, Java, Web technologies and other frameworks.
• Experience in proprietary technologies such as IBM iSeries/AIX would be a distinctive advantage.
• Working knowledge of database systems such as MS SQL, SyBase, MySQL, Oracle is required.
• Good written/oral communications skill combined with experience in formal documentation is a must.
• Fluent English & Arabic skills.
