Job description / Role
• Visiting the installation sites.
• Communicating job expectations.
• Planning and monitoring.
• Preparing reports to update the Manager about the details of the visited site.
• On-site: Verifying the measurement at customer site if required before the production.
• On-site: Discussion with civil In-charge regarding electrical points and water drainage out lets with respect to furniture safety.
• On-site: Discussion with civil In-charge regarding window, floor, ceiling & paint work prior to confirmation of invoice.
• During Installation: To ensure that the carpenter assembles the product as per the standard operating procedure.
• During Installation: Any query by customer other than the scope of work to be taken care of.
• During Installation: Any unforeseen problem at site to be dealt tactfully and professional in coordination with sales department / production department.
• During Installation: To ensure that the materials upon delivery in the site are complete.
• During Installation: To ensure that the workers are present in the site with complete uniform and on time and to monitor the overtime of the staff on the site.
• After Installation: To ensure that the product is checked by the customer.
• After Installation: To ensure to get the completion report signed by customer prior to leaving the site.
• After Installation: To submit the report in sale office.
• After Installation: To submit daily activity report to factory/manufacturing unit.
• After Installation: Final vigorous and intensive inspection after furniture installation.
• After Installation: Make sure that the site is clean and all installed products are in good condition before leaving the site.
• Daily Reporting from time to time to the Factory manager, copying the Management and Sales person in-charge.
Requirements
University Qualifications: Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering
Nature and length of previous experience: At least 3 years
