Job description / Role
Client is a well-established financial firm currently looking for a fresh graduate to grow within their team
• Providing complete support to the brokers for the smooth running of the desk
• Ensuring timely input of trades into trading systems
• Resolving any trade queries received internally and externally and ensuring any trade discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner
• Identifying trading opportunities and calculating strategies
• Keeping trade records up to date
• Updating real –time manual /electronic whiteboards with market data
• Providing input on various projects for brokers and traders
• Providing trade details to brokers and traders on a daily basis
• Giving live quotes to traders through the messaging systems
• Monitoring markets and following financial news and developments
• Liaising with clients both on the telephone and face to face to provide a reliable and efficient broking service
• Any other ad- hoc duties as required
Requirements
• Relevant regulatory qualifications ( desired )
• Sound understanding of global financial markets
• Microsoft applications software. G word, Excel, outlook etc. (essential)
• Work based experience in a similar role (essential)
• Bahrainis with a western education are encouraged to apply.
• 0-3 years’ experience
