Job description / Role
One of our clients is a reputable Engineering Consultancy firm with a strong global presence focusing on infrastructure projects. They are urgently seeking a Resident Signalling/Telecommunications Engineer to join their team in Bangladesh, to work on a large scale rail project.
Responsibilities
• Lead the signaling team to manage the implementation of signalling works on the project, consisting of a mixture of wayside and on-board signalling technologies, comprising mainly CBTC, ETCS, ATS and ATP
• Carry out Design Review and witnessing of the contractor’s Test and Commissioning activities, as well as interfacing with other technical disciplines
• Ensure compliance in line with the clients requirements
Requirements
• A BSc in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years’ post graduate experience
• Previous experience in a signalling engineer role on a large scale modern railway/mass transit system and rolling stock project based in South Asia
• A relevant professional signaling qualification is preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
