Job description / Role
I am looking for a well versed Group Director of Engineering for two Private Island resorts in the Caribbean. The Group Director of Engineering that we are looking for will have 2+years experience in a similar role, preference given to those with Island/Caribbean experience. This will suit a Group Director of Engineering that has experience with both Resorts and Private Villas, and pre-opening experience.
This role will suit an individual that is forward thinking, someone who takes a practical and hands on approach towards tasks, excellent communication skills and have experience dealing with clients/shareholders.
The successful candidate will be responsible to create union in operations, contracts and procurement between both island resorts for the technical department. You will be required to manage both Islands capital expenditure projects, managing budgets, planning and execution. You will be working closely with both construction and operations teams on both Islands, and will be the main communicator when it comes down to hand over.
