Program Controls Manager

Client:
Linum Consult’s client is a major consultancy, currently seeking a French- and English-speaking Program Controls Manager to join their team in Montreal, Canada.

Responsibilities:
• Delivering, maintaining, and managing a full suite of Project Controls, including Planning & Scheduling, Cost Management, Risk Management, Contract Administration, and Document Control
• Establishing and implementing the project controls processes and systems
• Identifying, implementing, and maintaining the tools and procedures needed for the program, based on the company’s project strategy and execution plans
• Providing strategic guidance to the program controls team
• Leading the development of cost management, scheduling, and progress monitoring procedures
• Supporting project management in the development of the work breakdown structure, activities, logic, resources and progress of the integrated project schedule
• Applying cost forecast best practices and Earned Value Management techniques; determining and communicating the possible range of cost and schedule outcomes for the project
• Producing monthly project financial reports
• Identifying, assessing, and monitoring the project risks
• Providing project leadership where necessary

Requirements

Profile:
• Degree qualification in Engineering or similar subject from a recognized university
• 10 years’ experience of supporting technical staff in a construction and engineering environment
• Fluent in spoken and written French and English
• Demonstrable history of using MS Office software, as well as SharePoint, MS Project, and Primavera
• The right to live and work in Canada
