Kindergarten Teacher, Hefei China

Our client Kindergarten is based in the city of Hefei, capitol of Anhui province. The city has a population of over 8 million and is very easy to navigate thanks to its modern transportation system. There is lots to do and see in the city itself with parks temples and lakes to visit. There is also Mount Jiuhua nearby where you can hike to take in some breath taking views of waterfalls and streams. Hefei with a much smaller population than other mega cities such as Shanghai and Beijing provides a more relaxed pace of life not to mention the cost of living is a lot lower compared to other bigger Chinese cities.

This Bilingual Kindergarten integrates Chinese and foreign cultures and puts in practice a multicultural curriculum. Respecting the rules of early childhood development, the Kindergarten develops developmental courses and specific courses that meet the interests and needs of young children, pays attention to the harmonious development of children’s cognition, emotions and abilities, and lays a good foundation for the future development of young children.

• Kindergarten teacher (start Aug 2020)
• Working time: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM17:00 PM, onehour lunch break.
• Taught age: 26 years old kids
• Expected start date: August 2020

Job Description:
• Make weekly, monthly and semester schedule based on teaching context and different age level.
• Follow up kids’ study process, help to correct their homework.
• Make evaluation for kids at the end of semester.
• Meeting with parents, teachers to communicate kids’ status when it’s needed.
• Active to attend necessary meetings, such as foreign teaching academy workshop, faculty employees meeting etc.
• Complete the other work assigned by kindergarten.
• Attend activities arranged by kindergarten.

Salary and benefits:
• Monthly Salary 17k 25k RMB monthly before tax. (12 months full salary)
• Housing Studio or 3k to 5k RMB housing allowance paid to teachers that can rent apartment in neighborhood.
• Maximum 10k RMB per year flight allowance
• Breakfast and lunch are provided on working days

Salary:
AED 9,000 to 13,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Housing allowance or provided accomodation, flight allowance

Requirements

• Bachelor degree
• Teaching license-TEFL/TESOL certificate acceptable
• Native English speaker-this is a requirement to obtain a visa
• Experience teaching 2-6 year olds in a kindergarten/Montessori/nursery environment
• Ability to plan lessons as part of a team
