Sino Gulf Energy Enterprises (SGEE) was established as a Joint Venture Company with the local Gulf Energy Corporation LLC (GEC) holding 60% shares and China Petroleum Technology and Development Corporation (CPTDC) holding the balance 40% shares. GEC is a wholly owned Omani company established to provide services to the Oil & Gas industry in Oman and the rest of Arabian Gulf region. GEC is managed by a team of Omanis who possess vast experience in the industry. In August 2006, GEC increased their share in SGEE to 95% and consequently the share of CPTDC was reduced to 5%. Oman Investment Corporation (“OIC”) holds 60% interest in GEC.

SGEE offers a large selection of Well Engineering products and services ranging from renting drill pipes to the top-of-the-line, Hydraulics tools such as Jars and Under-reamers in addition to the premium thread machining. SGEE also offers drill string product, and machining service needed to complete any type of oil/gas well requested by its customers.
