AMCO was a company wholly owned by the OLAYAN Group, established in 1977 as an Oilfield repair facility. In June 1, 2005 WEIR Services purchased 49% ownership of the company and it was renamed as "Weir Arabian Metals Company" but known as AMCO-WEIR.
