Employment: Full Time

Our client, a well-established and respected real estate developer and construction company, is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Chief Operations Officer (COO) with a strong construction background to join their growing team in Cyprus. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the company's daily operations, ensuring efficiency, and driving operational excellence across all aspects of the business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve the company's efficiency, productivity, and overall performance.
- Oversee project management activities, ensuring timely completion of construction projects within budget and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Chief Development Officer and other executives to align the operations with the company's strategic objectives and growth plans.
- Manage and optimize resource allocation, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to ensure maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and regulatory agencies.
- Continuously monitor and assess operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing innovative solutions to enhance the company's competitiveness.
- Foster a culture of safety, quality, and compliance, ensuring adherence to local and international construction regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels across the organization, promoting a collaborative work environment and strong teamwork.

Salary:
EUR 20,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master's degree or MBA is highly desirable.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in construction operations and management, with a proven track record in overseeing large-scale projects.
- In-depth knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry best practices.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and inspire diverse teams to achieve common goals.
- Proven ability to develop and implement effective operational strategies and drive continuous improvement.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong focus on efficiency and cost optimization.
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Fluency in English is required
