Active Cybersecurity Operations Engineer

Job Description
- Act as the point of contact for resolving issues related to various cyber security solutions hosted on Jafeer cloud. The role will provide alerts monitoring and L1, L2 support and troubleshooting for solutions like firewall , email gateway, and Sandboxing solutions. Also provide remote support to customer solution once ticket is issued (If needed).
- Perform security event response to detected threats.
- Regularly review and recommend changes to policies or controls as needed to enhance security.
- Coordinates with other team members and management to investigate, document, and report incidents.
- Regularly create and maintain high quality documentation for incidents, changes, and procedures.
- Automating processes through scripts and orchestration platforms
- Provide proactive and real-time guidance to customers on network configuration, security protocols, and defensive security response.
- Take proactive and reactive steps to mitigate security attacks or threats
- Provide RCAs for service incidents with alignment with L3 support and vendor.
- Ensures documented processes and procedures are relevant and up to date.
- Identify, define, and implement process and procedure improvements (SOP).

Technical Skills
- Hands-on experience supporting Fortinet solutions:
- Email Gateway
- Forti Sandbox FortiGate (Firewall)
- Fortinet NSE Certificate is a plus

Education
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Engineering, other related field, or equivalent experience.
