Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Purpose of the job

Act as second level of support for operations team and promptly react to their complaints and fix any issue according to the agreed SLA in the centralized support contract by handling of all non-emergency, non-3rd party and non-HW related cases on the charging system nodes.

Duties and responsibilities
- Act the technical lead for the skill center team
- He is responsible for the technical support as well as managing daily team operations
- Provide technical support for all Nodes within the group in all areas:, planning, operation using all available resources within Orange Egypt.
- Ensure answering all group inquiries in a timely manner and with required quality.
- Build and maintain network of business partners within OEG and to be able to give the required group technical support in all fields
- Help in troubleshooting critical or unusual issues that are raised during any of the new trials.
- Find out new methods & techniques for improving the network Quality and cost
- Interface with different Ericsson and OEG teams (Engineering, operation, optimization, and rollout) to plan for the features trials.
- Provide technical evaluation for the tested features with a clear recommendation whether to be deployed or not.
- Set default parameters and setup templates for new features activation to be used by other teams.
- Support Orange technical SKC in the areas of Contract management, maintenance contract negotiation, follow-up and SLAs.
- Contribute to the group in the selection of suppliers by supporting Orange technical skill center and Sourcing teams.
- Support Orange technical SKC and MCOs in the areas of Product assurance.
- Ensure timely Acceptance of New Products to Acceptable/Contractual Quality Levels.
- Ensure Effectiveness of Suppliers Processes for Product Creation and Delivery.
- Responsible for Continuous Improvement of Supplier Performance.
- Monitor equipment field Performance.
- Ensure effectiveness of Improvement Actions.

Requirements

Job specification

Education
- University degree, Faculty of engineering (communication dept.)

Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience,
- Technical experience in Shell scripting (Unix/Linux) ,SQL, Java
- Experience in charging systems OCS Nodes
- Knowledge in Telecommunication field especially in the field of system testing and troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of network E2E architecture and performance is preferred.
