Architect and Space Planning Engineer

Job description / Role

Role Purpose :

The role holder is accountable for Space Planning and architecture activities for the assigned buildings in addition to the followings:
- Handle Furniture maintenance at all sites
- Interior design for new areas and renovated areas.
- Handle all related operation & maintenance activities in the assigned building.
- Follow-up on managed service company works in the assigned building.
- Close monitoring on the work performance in the assigned building.
- Ensure all buildings look and feel are according to internal policy and guidelines.
- Perform all space planning tasks and requirements.
- Monitoring of office utilization and census.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure all internal requirements are considered
- Prepare the needed executive summary & BCs for the needed works on premises.
- Review existing building designs for any proposed enhancements changes to ensure do ability.
- Establish full design package for the needed enhancements changes on the assigned building
- Establish detailed BOQ of works.
- Select the efficient type of equipment & durable materials used & proper vendor selection.
- Supervise construction contractors vendors during implementation phase with a proper handing over.
- Comply with all H&S procedures
- Meet assigned OPEX & CAPEX

Requirements

Key Accountabilities And Decision Ownership

- Impact on Business (Accountable for Architecture and Furniture across the buildings, responsible of delivering the working environment to our employees across the building, close monitoring on day to day activities, continuous efforts to enhance employee experience, coordinating events and ).
- Mandatory tasks (follow-up & reporting on projects timelines, ensure abidance to projects critical path; ensure delivery with the required cost & desired quality)
- Project documents (understand VF internal requirements, establish project layouts, prepare Bill of Quantities for tendering, coordinate with SCM for vendors evaluation till selection, supervise implementation activities, proper project closing)

Must Have Technical / Professional Qualifications
- BSC in Architecture
- Minimum 8 years of Experience (Construction background / Operation & Maintenance background / design background)
- PC Knowledge: AUTOCAD, MS Office, MS project
- Job Location: Cairo
