Job Description

Responsibilities
- Maintain and optimize company Data Center and Servers.
- Ensuring the highest availability of all systems
- Developing and implement short and long term plans to accommodate existing and future requirement
- Lead the technical activities as solution implementation, system installation, fine-tuning and commissioning of technological solutions.
- Manage the technical team on a daily basis
- Manage and Design the Company Exchange Servers and maintain the Email Services to ensure the highest level of availability.
- Performing the line manager duties when delegating is applied
- Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of Core Microsoft and HCI Infrastructure VxRail VMware & Nutanix AHV.
- Provide after-hours support for Infrastructure related emergencies as well as occasional weekend maintenance
- Monitor all issues and escalate the problem to the appropriate department to ensure effective resolution.
- Be responsible for device management.
- Oversee data backup and Recovery operations.
- Manage installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software.
- Assess system performance and recommend improvements.
- Ensure data is handled, transferred or processed according to legal and company guidelines
- Manage contracts with vendors and software licenses and devices support.
- Development and implementation of Business Continuity Plans
- Plan and manage the implementation, updating and upgrading of business systems and applications.
- Develop department policies, process and procedures documentation and provide internal training to department and impacted end users
- Identify and take action to mitigate risk, ensuring adequate controls.
- Maintaining the suitable time for downtime
- Following-up with Security and Application team regarding updating/upgrading systems and their components
- Evaluating & estimating budgetary requirements for new hardware/software and equipment replacement
- Ensuring that information technology resources are right-sized to meet current and future business requirements in a cost-eff ective manner
- 3rd level of support with assign and following up on the IT infrastructure tasks & operations
- Preparing RFP and SoW and review the technical proposal

Requirements

Personal Skills

Skills & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a relevant field of studies.
- 4+ years of experience.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written in English and Arabic.
- Driven, flexible and motivated to help others.
- Excellent judgment and problem-solving skills.
- Applicable professional qualification, such as Microsoft, VMware, or Nutanix (VMware VCA-VCP and Nutanix NCA-NCP are preferred).
- Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Extensive experience with IT systems, networks, and related technologies.
- Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security.
- Exceptional leadership, organizational, and time management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
