Employment: Full Time

Job Description
- Review monthly bank reconciliations.
- Monitor proper allocation of cash resources.
- Updates the management with the status and calculation of debts and interest per category and Bank.
- Controls and monitors the agreed deals with banks.
- Resolves pending internal bank transactions.
- Ensures that all bank transactions are properly allocated.
- Handle all periodic audits and their requirements.
- Ensure the proper allocation of different financial facilities.
- Submits monthly accounts reconciliation after considering FX impact
- Submits closing package to the GL section head according to deadlines.
- Participates in designing and recommending accounting systems, policies and procedures.
- Coaches, develops, motivates, monitors, and follows up on team members' performance, quality, and adherence for improving productivity and skills to ensure people development and high performance.
- Participate in the identification and recruitment of key talents for the Banking team.
- Lead, guide and assist direct reports to perform their functional operations in accordance with set policies and procedures
- Set performance objectives, provide the necessary support, evaluate/appraise the team and provide regular feedback on performance.

Requirements

- Ability to create and give presentations to executive management
- Excellent command of English
- Excellent problem solving skills.

Technical Skills
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Practices (GAAP) and -Association of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) guidelines
- Experienced in budget development and implementation
- B.Sc. in Accounting
- CPA / CMA is preferred
- Minimum 6 years of experience
- Experience in designing and recommending accounting systems, policies and procedures.
- Exposure in large organizations in high volume of bank transactions.

Education
- B.Sc. in Accounting
