DAR Engineering, a leading design & engineering consulting organization in Saudi Arabia engaged in Power Generation, Electrical Transmission & Distribution, Health Care & High Rise Buildings
Job Purpose
Support implementing project plan, define project goals, and devises methods to accomplish them. Develop in depth knowledge of client objectives, contract terms and corporate policies. Lead BIM team and provides discipline specific knowledge and experience as part of the overall design management team.
Key Accountability Areas
- Ensure BIM implementation in-coordination with BIM manager.
- Support raise-up BIM team capabilities i.e., Assessments, Training, Supporting, Troubleshooting, Modeling, standards, templates, families, Parameters, Project Coordination, and all related BIM implementation process.
- Ensure 3D Models are clash coordinated and reviewed for build ability, thus enabling the contractor to progress construction activities at the site in a timely manner with minimal or no conflicts.
- Coordinate with other contractors for BIM related issues at site and in Revit Model and recommend proper solutions.
- Lead the BIM modelers during the preparation of project models.
- Implement BIM execution Plan (BEP).
- Prepare and present reports to BIM manager.
- Ensure compliance of relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within defined area of work activity to guarantee safety, legislative compliance, and delivery of high-quality products/services.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- 8 to 12 years of relevant work experience.
- Proficient in ensuring BIM implementation in coordination with the BIM manager.
- Experience in supporting the enhancement of BIM team capabilities, including assessments, training, troubleshooting, modeling, standards, templates, families, parameters, and project coordination.
- Demonstrated ability to ensure clash-coordinated 3D models, reviewing them for buildability to facilitate timely construction progress with minimal conflicts.
- Skill in coordinating with other contractors to address BIM-related issues both on-site and in the Revit model.
- Ability to recommend and implement proper solutions for identified issues.
- Experience leading BIM modelers in the preparation of project models.
- Proficiency in implementing BIM Execution Plans (BEP) for projects.
- Ability to prepare and present reports to the BIM manager, summarizing progress, challenges, and solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills, particularly in troubleshooting BIM-related issues.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
