Business Automation Engineer

Job description / Role

Role Profile
- Understanding Business Problems, analysing and documenting them and translating/transforming them into technology solutions
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design automation solutions that streamline business processes, improve efficiency, and drive digital transformation.
- Review Architecture to make sure its scalable and adaptable automation solutions that leverage best practices, emerging technologies, and industry standards.
- Support in Developing and implementing automation solutions using RPA platforms, workflow automation tools, and integration technologies to automate manual tasks, processes, and workflows.
- Support in Configuring and customizing automation workflows, business rules, and decision logic to meet business requirements and optimize operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of automation solutions.
- Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and gather feedback from stakeholders to iteratively refine and improve automation solutions.
- Evaluate vendor proposals and oversee vendor deliverables to ensure successful implementation and support.

Requirements

Qualifications
- +5 Years Experience as solution architect/implementation engineer
- Computer Science or Engineering Bachelors Graduate
- Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements, technologies, and business priorities while maintaining focus on delivering high-quality solutions
- Excellent command of Arabic and English
- Creative thinking and innovation to design innovative automation solutions that address complex business challenges and drive operational efficiencies.

Technical qualifications
- Proficiency in business process automation platforms to design and implement automated workflows and robotic process automation (RPA) solutions as well as profit
- Experience with Content management platforms, OCRs and archiving solutions.
- Knowledge of integration technologies and standards such as REST APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, and middleware platforms to integrate disparate systems and applications within the business environment.
- Experience with workflow automation tools for automating complex business processes and approvals.
- Understanding of data integration and transformation techniques to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data between systems, databases, and applications.
- Understanding of business intelligence (BI) and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView for extracting insights from data and informing automation decisions.
- Good understanding of AI and M/L (Machine Learning)
- Familiarity with database management systems (DBMS) such as SQL Server, Oracle, or MySQL, including experience automating database-related tasks and queries.
- Business Automation Certified (ex: IBM, Oracle, UiPath, etc.)
- ECM Certified (Laserfiche, Opentext, IBM, etc.)
