Job description / Role

This opportunity is with a large Multinational company in Cairo, Egypt.

We are seeking a Buyer who will be responsible for supplier management. Your responsibilities will include negotiation, contract management & RFQ. You will also be responsible for forecasting and analysis of suppliers, the competition benchmark and spend.

Responsibilities
• Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
• Process requisitions and update management on status of orders.
• Update inventory and ensure that stock levels are kept at appropriate levels.
• Develops and maintains strong stakeholder management relationships.
• Communicates results and acts as a proactive Business Partner
• Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions.
• Coordinate with inventory team, management, and stockroom as required.
• Assess the quality of stock received and escalate any discrepancies to suppliers and management

Requirements

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field
• 5+ years in sourcing contracting and supplier base management
• Preferably global or international experience
• Excellent English mastery (speaking/writing)
• Critical thinking and negotiation skills.
• Business minded with ability to understand the dimensions of business strategy.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
