Your Role and Responsibilities
• This is an IBM Digital Sales Leadership role (Inside Sales) supporting the IBM Cloud Platform portfolio of offerings that include IaaS & PaaS solutions focused on the SMB segment for IBM Middle East & Africa.
• Lead teams of Land and Expand digital sellers tasked to drive new client acquisition through digital platforms and digital selling techniques while unlocking life time value through client success management activities for the install base.
• Leading, coaching, hiring and developing digital cloud sellers in all aspects of deal-making, including qualification, solution maturity, competitive solution selling, objection handling, and negotiation activities.
• Proactively engage and collaborate across all functions in the sales funnel by applying agile methods and practices.
• Grow the IBM Cloud platform pipeline to support high growth in signings by leveraging IBM's digital platforms, partner ecosystems and the broader IBM sales missions and support functions.
• Apply sales management, forecasting, reporting skills to drive results and meet financial objectives.
• Create a highly effective sales culture that is defined by collaboration, high employee engagement, continuous skill development and innovation.
• Ability to propose new sales tactics and approaches. Try, fail forward, iterate and improve based on learnings.

Requirements

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
• 5+ Years of people and sales management experience
• 3+ years selling Cloud offerings or SaaS solutions
• BS Degree preferably in Business Administration, IT management, Computer Science, Engineering.
• Strategic account planning, development, organizational skills and team leadership.
• Passion for cloud technologies and helping customers migrate to their business to the cloud and create cloud solutions that provide a competitive advantage.
• Demonstrated leadership, effective coaching and talent development skills.
• Creative problem solver with a high tolerance for change.
• Ability to work in complex, matrix managed organizational environments
• Ability to effectively operate in agile teams.
• Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
• Sales Management experience
• Digital Sales (Inside Sales) experience (as seller or manager)
• Digital Marketing practices and digital commerce platforms.
• Knowledge and application of agile methodologies and practices.
• Digital and Social Selling techniques
