Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

About the role
- Supports Customer Pre-Sales and Post-Sales project & teams in order to identify and address sourcing needs & constraints across Customer Project phases.
- Is accountable in front of project team for all sourcing deliverables (timely delivery, quality & competitiveness) in his/her scope of responsibilities, as per engagement model.
- Ensure early and appropriate involvement of buyer (Telco sourcing experts from other regions, local Telco buyers, Local,S&N..) within project scope to qualify project sourcing needs and plan for resource mobilization on telco and non telco aspects of the deals
- Builds, validates and executes the project sourcing action plan (depending project phase) per commodity and supplier taking into consideration project constraints, buyers & commodity inputs, relevant tools and guidelines
- Contributes to cost and specification optimization in collaboration with commodity buyer and Telco Buyers through relevant RACI matrix
- Negotiates directly or through delegated buyer specific terms & conditions (including intellectual property, project deliverables, penalties, SLAs) on top of existing contracts when relevant.
- Communicates and promotes usage of selected suppliers and negotiated contracts amongst project teams.
- Provides relevant, accurate and consolidated sourcing deal inputs and recommendation at key deal stage
- Informs management proactively about potential issues.
- Liaises with bid team daily and with sourcing domains (Local & Global Commodities and Telco Commodities) to ensure relevant sourcing input to customer project team
- Contribute to Access Design optimizations by advising & challenging cost effective solution (access technique, POP, Redundancy and feasibility, SLA, Contract terms..)
- Review and challenge quotation results and propose optimized solution.
- Prepare inputs for forward costing validation to sourcing management.
- If required, fill all missing costs with budgetary price based on average & previous costs.
- Prepare Spend summary on time for Solution review inputs and update as renegotiations are progressing for different reviews (Commercial review, IC, etc...)
- Participates in the Telco sourcing expert community aiming at building a shared and updated knowledge database on Telco aspects of customer deals thru deal lesson learned and capitalization

Requirements

About you

- At least 3 years of experience as a Sourcing Buyer or similar role preferably with Project Management & Telco knowledge
- Personal and professional credibility to challenge internal assumptions / internal responses
- Strong critical thinking, analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize& perform under pressure
- High level analytical skills
- Advanced Excel & Powerpoint
- Fluent level of English language. French is a plus
