Your Role and Responsibilities
• Development and management of data center budget for maintenance, repairs, capital and general operating costs; bottom-up development of yearly budgets. Negotiation and approval of vendor contracts/agreements
• Responsibility and oversight for customer implementations, including review and approval of proposed Service Level Agreements and Contract changes.
• Act as the escalation point for internal and external client inquiries
• Works with regional and global facilities management team to leverage existing operational procedures and reference material to expedite implementation, standardize operational methodologies, and facilitate best practices in areas of common interest and business focus.
• Accountable to maintain and evolve internal operational policy and procedural reference documents.
• Operate as a member of the extended data center Operations team to deliver on key business initiatives
• Responsible for site safety and environmental compliance.
• Ensures compliance of the data center with various accreditations e.g. ISAE 3402, PCI DSS, ISO 22301, IBM Reliability levels. Support internal or external audits in relation of these accreditations.
• Support pre sales team, to be able give the best possible solution of data center services for current and new customers.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
• Working knowledge of computer hardware, and data cabling, and greening technologies to be able to maximize the PUE of each data center.
• Working knowledge of data center critical systems
• Experience with negotiating and managing local vendor agreements
• Data center support & facilities experience in mission critical environments
