Duties and Responsibilities
- Monitors construction for compliance with electrical codes and standards, Contract requirements, results of previous design stages, etc. under the direction of the Site Construction Supervision Lead
- Provides technical support to the Site Construction Supervision team on issues related to electrical engineering
- Monitors construction of NPP's and associated electrical equipment; develops comments pertaining to non-compliance with Detailed design,Work execution plans and Field change orders.
- Coordinates effectively with other erection engineering disciplines
- Oversees the entire technical installation documentation review process within the electrical engineering discipline
- Provides advice to the Owner with respect to preservation of electrical components at site
- Communicates urgent/unresolved issues to the Construction Supervision team
- Reports progress of performed activities to the Construction Supervision team
- Reviews Field Change Requests for installation compliance
- Participates in safety and hazard assessments for electrical processes and systems
- Reviews as-built design documents and modification of electrical systems
- Reviews, comments pares drafts of correspondence pertaining to electrical systems and processes as requested.

Requirements

Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Strong technical skills; 10 years of experience in electrical engineering on large scale projects, thermal power plants or in nuclear power plant development. Nuclear experience is required. Knowledge of European and Russian nuclear electrical codes is a plus.
- Experience in operation of 3 NPP type is plus
- Knowledge in the following Electrical engineering areas:
- Power generation plants:
- Electrical substations
- Electrical systems automation and relay protections
- Electrical power supply and electrical equipment
- Installation and testing of electrical equipment
- Commissioning of electrical equipment in NPPs

Special Job Requirements
- Ability to analyze, communicate, influence and persuade
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential, understanding of Russian and/or Arabic is a plus
- Proactive team player, proven to be effective in a multi-cultural environment
