Employment: Full Time

Purpose of the job

Responsible for the planning, managing and running all the finance Operations activities including commercial accounting, commission, consolidation & reporting, accounts payables, ledger, consignment, stock control and fixed assets.

Duties and responsibilities
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Control the budget and the resources of the department.
- Recommend policies and procedures to improve business practices.
- Raise new ideas and initiatives that could have been overlooked by other departments.
- Lead continuous business improvement and development activities.
- Implemented major cost controls and stricter processes,
- Leading all Finance Operations related function including (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Commercial Accounting, direct/indirect commission control, Retail Accounting, Roaming Operations, Finance System, Cash Operations, Fixes Assets Operations, Consolidation and Group Reporting & Subsidiaries management)
- Full responsibility of Company's Financial Statements consolidation and standalone including all related corporate governance (Audit Committee, Control Committee)
- Assist the CFO in Board and Audit Committee preparation, a strategic direction and positioning to ensure the Corporation's success
- Create, coordinate, and evaluate the financial controls and supporting information systems of the Corporation
- Approve and coordinate changes and improvements to disclosure controls and procedures and internal control over financial reporting
- Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and take steps to enhance, where necessary, the internal control systems within the Corporation.

Planning, Organizing and Budgeting
- Set clear guidelines and objectives for financial and accounting operations.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and procedure.
- Participate in establishing or recommending to higher management major financial objectives and policies.
- Assess the quality of accounting data sources and implement the required changes.
- Manage departments annual budget and control expenses.
- Coordinate with managers under his/her responsibility in both short and long term strategies to achieve the overall objective of the department.

People Management
- Interview and select direct reports and validate hiring decisions for the department.
- Provide coaching and request needed training for direct reports ensuring continuous individual development.
- Ensure a healthy working environment for the department employees through focusing on team building and motivation initiatives.
- Conduct regular performance and competency evaluations for direct reports while delivering constant constructive feedback for higher achievements and further development.

Requirements

Job specifications

Education
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
- Masters degree in Business Administration.

Experience
- Minimum 18 years of experience in Finance, 10 of which in an upper management Role.
- Demonstrated experience in working with senior management team (CEO, VPs & Directors).
- An operational experience in a Telecom company would be preferred.

Skills and abilities
- Fluent English both spoken and written.
- Very good computer skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to be able to present sophisticated and complex materials and issues and get the audience involvement.
- High team work orientation to be able to effect cooperation among subordinates with diverse mentalities and performing different functions.
- Result orientation to be able to lead difficult projects and initiatives and achieve results even when faced with strong resistance.
- Flexible and able to work under pressure even with constant changing requirements.
- Strong planning and organizing skills to the degree of leading corporate wide projects.
- Excellent leadership skills to be able to inspire and lead others (whether direct subordinates or others) into achieving tangible results.
- Excellent analytical and decision making skills to the degree of taking high risk decisions for the interest of the business.
- Business sense and comprehensive vision.
