Financial Reporting Manager

Job description / Role

An exciting opportunity for a career-driven Reporting Manager. Reporting into the Head of Finance, this is a newly created position which has arisen due to a re-organisation of the finance team.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the quality, accuracy, consistency and timely submission of 4 separate legal entities’ reports.
• Manage Group reporting process to ensure timely and accurate reporting in line with Group requirements, including Forecasts
• Owner of Intercompany Accounting cycle end to end, managing intercompany financials by identifying/reviewing and resolving Intercompany mismatches to ensure accurate group financial data.
• Act as a point of contact for all intercompany related activities across all Business Units
• Ensure the existence & effectiveness of a controlled Bank Rec process to ensure accuracy of reported Balance Sheet Figures
• Responsible in the short term for the country tax activities, audits and inspections and giving all the needed support for the tax advisor
• Ensure timely implementation of internal and external audit recommendations
• Monthly check for country results COGNOS vs local books and analysing variances with justification
• Managing advice required by Business on Group reporting tools to ensure Business awareness on Group reporting requirements and deadlines.
• Ensure the existence & effectiveness of a controlled Revenue Rec process to ensure accuracy of reported Income Statement Revenue
• Ensure the existence & effectiveness of a controlled working capital process to ensure accuracy of reported Balance Sheet figures
• Monthly Check for Country results actual vs plan and communicate with concerned business partners for justifications
• Managing the preparation of various Annual/Quarter/Monthly presentations & reports for Group and local management.
• Manage monthly P&L review meeting with CFO & Finance Heads for pre submission review and signoff
• Manage monthly Balance Sheet review meeting for the country FD

Salary:
USD 2500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• CPA/CMA preferred
• Degree in finance/maths or similar
• Minimum 5 yrs in a reporting role
• 10 years in a large multinational finance team, used to reporting to international plc standards
