Job Description - Junior Environmental Consultant / engineer

Job Title: Junior Environmental Consultant / Engineer

Job Type: Full-time

Business Unit: Worley Consulting

Position reports to: Country Manager - Environment & Society

Job Description:
- Assist in the preparation of environmental impact assessment (EIA, ESIA), construction and operation environmental management plans, environmental monitoring and auditing plans and various environmental reports.
- Undertake Best Available Techniques (BAT) assessments for different industries.
- Assist in planning, organizing and undertaking monitoring of environmental baseline conditions (noise, air, water, land).
- Assist in preparing proposals, reports and client correspondence.
- Participate in business development activities.

Requirements

Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in environmental science or engineering from an accredited institution.
- Experience in technical reporting and presentations.
- Familiar with applicable environmental laws and regulations and dealings with local regulatory authorities.
- Ability to work independently or with a team to accomplish complex tasks.
- Application of safe working practices and quality assurance in all activities.
- ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certification is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel and spend periods of time in the field.
- Fluent in English.
